This site is a tribute to my wonderful mum, Doreen Bowen. She sadly passed away on 11th of June 2020, aged 78 after a difficult few years living with dementia. All the while supported, loved and cared for by her husband and my dad, Alf Bowen.

She was born on the 12th of February 1942 and was married to my dad for 58 years. Together they had 3 children - all boys - of which I was the youngest.

Selfless to a fault, extremely chatty and loved by all around her. My mum gave us all so much. Always putting myself and my brothers before herself, never letting any of us go without a well-cooked meal. Always keeping the house spotlessly clean. To this day I've no idea where she got the energy from.

I will miss talking to her, shopping with her, watching TV with her and enjoying her wonderful roast dinners. Words can't express how much we will all miss her.
